Watchtower Project
We are a non-Profit organization that aids First Responders financially in regard to their mental health. We find them therapists who are either willing to work with first responders, or are specialized in first responders, so they don't have to. We fund their care so that they can focus on getting better for themselves, their families, and their communities.
First Responders are exposed to much more than the general public realizes; exposure to insane levels of stress, and repeated amounts of intense trauma. Though, speaking about mental health over all in these communities has gotten better, the stigma is still very much alive within the cracks; no emotion, burry it down, you signed up for this. The Watchtower Project wants to end that stigma by leaving no other reasons to not seek help. Proper funds and difficulty finding the right licensed help are often what keep First Responders from seeking treatment. The Watchtower Project aims to eliminate those barriers so that our First Responders get the help they need. The help they deserve.
